We suffered significant water damage to our beloved clinic due to the recent extreme weather. Following cleanup & repairs, we are now hoping to resume in person visits at our Hometown clinic sometime next week. In the meantime, we will be providing patient care at two alternate locations (click for driving directions):
STEP Pediatrics, PA
Rivela Plastic Surgery
You will be contacted by our staff as to where you are to go. COVID-19 testing will continue to be performed at the Hometown parking lot. Please check back here for the latest updates. Again, thank you for your support & understanding.
We are sad to report that due to the recent extreme weather we have suffered significant water damage to our beloved office. As such, we will be closed on February 18th & 19th. We already have a restoration team actively clearing out the damaged areas and will soon begin repairs. As always, we have a physician on-call to speak with day or night whom you can reach by calling our main number (281-292-8980) while we set plans for re-opening for in-person care as soon as possible. Please check here for the latest updates. Thank you for your support & understanding.
Hometown Pediatrics did receive a limited number of Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations. At this time, all doses have been allocated.
We are currently unaware whether or not we shall receive additional allotments but, if so, we will immediately announce availability HERE & shall continue to vaccinate Phase 1A & 1B individuals on a first-call, first-scheduled basis (by appointment only). For more general information please go to the Texas DSHS website at COVID-19 Vaccine Information (texas.gov)
Thank you in advance for your patience!
We have just acquired our supply of Flu Shots for the upcoming flu season–recommended for ALL children above 6 months of age! All of our flu shots again this year are preservative-free!
This year we will be giving Flu Shots to parents as well! We will be open for a flu shot clinic on select Saturday in the morning. If you would like to schedule please contact our office.
The flu virus is common and unpredictable, and it can cause serious complications and death, even in healthy children. The influenza immunization each year is the best way to protect children. If you choose not to vaccinate your child, you not only miss the opportunity to protect your own child but also can put others at risk. Although influenza can be treated with antiviral medications, these drugs are less effective if not started early, can be expensive, and may have bothersome side effects.
Please protect your precious little ones by calling to set up an appointment while our supplies are in!
